Description
Our ginger honey brings together the smooth sweetness of raw honey with the natural warmth of ginger, creating a flavour that’s both comforting and easy to use every day. This is a simple, time-honoured combination that has been used across many cultures for generations.
What Makes Our Ginger Honey Different
Our ginger honey is made using our raw Western Australian bush honey, so it keeps its natural character without heavy processing. Fermented with ginger, it develops a deeper, more aromatic flavour over time, giving you that balance of sweetness with a subtle, warming finish.
- Fermented for a minimum of 4 weeks to develop a deep, layered flavour
- Small batch and handcrafted in WA
Ginger Honey Taste and Uses
- Stir into warm water or tea
- Take a spoonful when you need something soothing
- Add to cooking for a hint of warmth
- Drizzle over breakfast or desserts
The flavour is slightly stronger than traditional honey, with a gentle spice that builds without overwhelming.
A Simple Addition to Your Routine
Traditionally, this combination has been kept on hand during colder weather and reached for when you’re feeling a bit run down. It’s not about replacing anything, just having something simple in the cupboard that feels good to use.
Raw Honey and Natural Variation
Because our ginger honey is made using raw honey, you may notice natural changes over time. Crystallisation is completely normal and a sign that the honey hasn’t been overly processed. If it occurs, gently warming the jar will return it to a smooth consistency. Each batch may also vary slightly depending on the honey and ginger used.
A Natural Balance of Sweet and Warm
Ginger honey is one of those combinations that just works. The honey softens the ginger, while the ginger lifts the honey, creating something that feels balanced, comforting and easy to come back to.

What makes our honey unique
Our beehives are located in real WA bushland. We manage every hive and pull every frame by hand. Harvesting with minimal processing, letting the honey settle on its own, and never straining through a micro-filter. Then we pour it raw. Nothing added, nothing taken away. Just the season, the bush, and the bees doing what they do.
- Hand-pulled frames from our own WA apiaries
- Settled, not strained. Pollen and enzymes stay intact
- Traceable to the location, never blended with any additives

Your honey questions, answered
Why has my honey crystallised?
Totally normal, and actually a good sign. Real, raw honey crystallises over time because of its natural sugar content, it just means there’s nothing added and nothing taken away. If you want it back to liquid, sit the jar in a bowl of warm (not boiling) water for a few minutes and give it a stir. It’ll taste exactly the same.
Is raw honey better than normal honey?
In our books, yes. Most honey you see in supermarkets has been heated and filtered, which is great for shelf life but strips out a lot of the natural pollen, enzymes and flavour along the way. Ours is raw, meaning it’s harvested straight from the hive and never heated past what the bees themselves would experience. You get all the natural goodness, plus that proper honey taste.
Do you ship Australia-wide?
Yep, we ship to every state and territory across Australia. Just pop in your address at checkout and we’ll get your honey on its way.
Where does the honey come from?
Straight from our own hives across Western Australia. We’re migratory beekeepers, moving our hives through Perth and the South West so our bees can forage from native trees like Jarrah and Marri, then we harvest and bottle it ourselves.
What type of honey is best for me?
Depends what you’re after. Want something bold and packed with wellness benefits? Go for Jarrah, it’s got a smooth caramel and toffee flavour and strong antimicrobial properties. After an everyday honey the whole family loves? Marri (Red Gum) is our most popular for a reason. Got little ones or prefer something gentler? Wandoo or our Creamed honey are lovely and mild.
