Description
Sweet with a slow, warming heat. Our hot honey is made by fermenting habanero chilli into our raw honey, creating a balance of sweetness and heat that’s easy to use across everyday meals. The heat builds slowly, sitting in the background and adding depth without taking over the dish.
Made with Raw Honey
We use our raw Western Australian bush honey as the base for our hot honey, which means it hasn’t been heat-treated or heavily processed. By keeping it as close as possible to how it comes from the hive, the natural flavour of the honey remains, while the habanero infusion adds that subtle warmth.
- Fermented for a minimum of 4 weeks to develop a deep, layered flavour
- Small batch and handcrafted in WA
How to Use Hot Honey
- Drizzle over grilled chicken or BBQ meats
- Add to roasted vegetables for extra flavour
- Brush over meat before cooking
- Stir through simple meals like chicken and rice
- Add a little heat to wraps, sandwiches or salads
What Does Hot Honey Taste Like (and Why It Works So Well)
The sweetness of the honey softens the habanero, so instead of a sharp burn, you get a gentle warmth that builds gradually and complements the food rather than overpowering it.

What makes our honey unique
Our beehives are located in real WA bushland. We manage every hive and pull every frame by hand. Harvesting with minimal processing, letting the honey settle on its own, and never straining through a micro-filter. Then we pour it raw. Nothing added, nothing taken away. Just the season, the bush, and the bees doing what they do.
- Hand-pulled frames from our own WA apiaries
- Settled, not strained. Pollen and enzymes stay intact
- Traceable to the location, never blended with any additives

Your honey questions, answered
Why has my honey crystallised?
Totally normal, and actually a good sign. Real, raw honey crystallises over time because of its natural sugar content, it just means there’s nothing added and nothing taken away. If you want it back to liquid, sit the jar in a bowl of warm (not boiling) water for a few minutes and give it a stir. It’ll taste exactly the same.
Is raw honey better than normal honey?
In our books, yes. Most honey you see in supermarkets has been heated and filtered, which is great for shelf life but strips out a lot of the natural pollen, enzymes and flavour along the way. Ours is raw, meaning it’s harvested straight from the hive and never heated past what the bees themselves would experience. You get all the natural goodness, plus that proper honey taste.
Do you ship Australia-wide?
Yep, we ship to every state and territory across Australia. Just pop in your address at checkout and we’ll get your honey on its way.
Where does the honey come from?
Straight from our own hives across Western Australia. We’re migratory beekeepers, moving our hives through Perth and the South West so our bees can forage from native trees like Jarrah and Marri, then we harvest and bottle it ourselves.
What type of honey is best for me?
Depends what you’re after. Want something bold and packed with wellness benefits? Go for Jarrah, it’s got a smooth caramel and toffee flavour and strong antimicrobial properties. After an everyday honey the whole family loves? Marri (Red Gum) is our most popular for a reason. Got little ones or prefer something gentler? Wandoo or our Creamed honey are lovely and mild.
